Creator and actress. A graduate of the Department of Theater Studies at the Hebrew University and a graduate with honors in the actor-creator-researcher program at Tel Aviv University. She also studied acting and film at Santa Monica College in Los Angeles and acting studies at Beit Zvi. In the summer of 2017 she participated in the Directors Lab International Directors Seminar in Chicago. She has acted in various projects in the theater and for the screen, and is a member of the “Holot” theater group, directed by Dr. Chen Alon. “The place will comfort you”, “Mind Your Step” and “That night”. Maya also founded the ensemble, Buenos Ensemble, a Jerusalem ensemble consisting of actors and musicians.
