Independent theater creator. Director, acting and dramatic writing teacher and editor of plays and screenplays. Graduate of the Department of English Literature at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. During her studies, she and other artists initiated the establishment of the Jerusalem Community Theater. She studied theater at Tel Aviv University. She performed at the Haifa Municipal Theater and the Cameri Theater and at the same time initiated and participated in independent plays including “Woman from the Ground” first prize at the Acre Festival 1984. Also at the Acre Festival she directed “Man and Woman”, “My Jubilee” and “Bavarian Railway”. Additional performances: “The Yellow Wallpaper,” “Voices” and “Bus 92” at the Alley Theater; “In the Forest in the Forest” and “My Jubilee” at the Tmuna Theater; “Happy Birthday” and a singing show As part of “Orpheus in Jaffa – a performance stage for poetry” at the Arab-Hebrew Theater; “The Dentist” at the Women’s Festival in Holon (also hosted at the Edinburgh Festivals in Scotland, The Fringe in Toronto Canada, Amsterdam and The Hague Netherlands). Among the children’s plays she directed “The Heroic Plots of Don Quixote and Sancho Pansa” (Actor Award at the Haifa Festival of Children’s Plays). Teaches acting in private workshops and the “Road” acting studio, where she also teaches dramatic writing. She also created an Israeli version of “Street” by Jim Cartwright.
