The following information is up-to-date for the  2025 calendar year.

EVE Membership opens once a year, during the funding application period for the Ministry of Culture. For the 2027 cycle, the membership period will be during the last quarter of 2026.

The opening of the “Membership Period” will be published annually in the EVE newsletter, via social networks, and by email to all interested parties.

1. Membership in EVE is intended for directors and artists who are actively working in theater and performance art. In other words, the  artists spearheading the creative process, who are responsible for its realization.
2. Membership is intended for artists who intend to submit a funding application to Ministry of Culture (support for a “Production Project” as defined by the Ministry of Culture).
3. The eligibility criteria for submitting a funding application to the Ministry of Culture are published annually, at the start of the funding application period.
4. Joining EVE takes place in two stages:

    

Stage A – Submitting a membership application. At this stage, applicants receive “Temporary Member” status, and EVE handles the submission of the applicant’s funding application to the Ministry of Culture. This stage entails paying partial membership fees.

Stage B – Full membership is granted only if the Ministry of Culture approves the artist’s funding application for their production.

During the “Temporary” stage (Stage A), artists receive specific services from EVE and are invited to remain members in this status until the end of the calendar year. At the end of the calendar year the membership expires for artists who did not receive support from the Ministry of Culture.  Of course, artists are invited to rejoin at the next membership period and submit a new funding application to the Ministry of Culture.

1. In exceptional cases, and per the decision of the organization’s steering committee, EVE may accept a new full member, even if they do not intend to submit a funding application to the Ministry of Culture.
2. Full membership in EVE entails paying annual membership fees, signing a membership agreement, and managing finances through EVE. EVE members receive various services, detailed here.
